Hi, I’m Emily!

I'm a Full-Spectrum Doula and Newborn Care Specialist serving families in the Tri-Cities area through fertility, birth, and postpartum. My approach is rooted in compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers families to feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their journey. I am also working toward certification in Perinatal Mental Health to further support the emotional well-being of the families I serve. As a mother myself, I understand how deeply personal the journey into parenthood can be. I’m passionate about supporting and empowering families through informed choices, gentle encouragement, and nurturing care from first hope to first hold, with a special heart for women preparing for a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean).

I have personally experienced one C-section and two VBACs. After my first birth, I truly felt that with more support, advocacy, education, and preparation (in other words, if I had a doula!), my experience could have been much more positive for both myself and my family.

On the drive home from the hospital with my newborn, I began researching VBACs. I wondered: Is a vaginal birth after Cesarean even possible? Like many women, I had always heard the phrase “Once a C-section, always a C-section.”

I was amazed to learn that not only was a VBAC possible, but that I, and many other women, could be excellent candidates for a TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean) in hopes of achieving a VBAC.

Every family deserves support in making the decisions that feel right for them. Whether you are preparing for a VBAC, planning a repeat Cesarean, a first-time mom, or simply seeking compassionate support through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, my passion is helping families feel informed, empowered, and deeply cared for throughout their journey.

What Do I Offer?

Fertility Support

Trying to grow your family can bring excitement, hope, uncertainty, and heartbreak all at once. As your fertility doula and conception coach, I provide compassionate emotional support, encouragement, education, and a calming presence throughout your journey.

Whether you are just beginning to try to conceive, navigating fertility challenges, processing loss, or exploring your options, my goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and never alone. Support may include guidance with TTC (Trying to Conceive), ovulation timing, cycle and chart tracking, nutrition support, understanding fertility options, and emotional encouragement throughout every stage of the journey.

Pregnancy & Birth Support

Pregnancy and birth are deeply transformative experiences, and every family deserves to feel informed, supported, and empowered throughout the journey. As your doula, I provide compassionate, evidence-based support during pregnancy, labor, and birth while helping you navigate your options with confidence and reassurance.

Support may include birth planning, childbirth education, comfort measures for labor, emotional support, advocacy, partner support, VBAC preparation, evidence-based resources, and continuous support throughout labor and delivery. My goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and deeply cared for as you welcome your baby into the world.

Postpartum Support

The postpartum season can be beautiful, emotional, overwhelming, and transformative all at once. As your postpartum doula, my goal is to help you feel supported, nourished, and cared for as you recover, adjust, and settle into life with your new baby.

Support may include emotional support, newborn care guidance, lactation support, feeding encouragement, recovery support, practical help around the home, evidence-based education, and compassionate care for your mental and emotional well-being during the postpartum transition. I also provide support as a Newborn Care Specialist, and am currently pursuing additional certification in Perinatal Mental Health to better support families during this important season.

Whether you are navigating exhaustion, anxiety, feeding challenges, or simply adjusting to a new rhythm, you deserve support that helps you feel confident, seen, and never alone.

Why Choose Doula Support?

Doula support significantly improves maternal and infant health outcomes. Research demonstrates that continuous doula support decreases the odds of a cesarean delivery by nearly 40-50%, lowers postpartum anxiety and depression by over 55%, and reduces preterm and low-birthweight deliveries by up to 30%.
